To begin, have the strap underside facing upwards. Start to feed both strap-ends through the pedal slots nearest the crank.
Continue to feed both strap-
ends through the second pedal slots till all the buckle holes are revealed.
Fold the strap over, ready for foot insertion. Check that the correct strap has been fitted to its intended side - From the riders perspective, the logo should appear upside down.
Insert foot and fasten strap buckles. Do not over-tighten straps. Always ensure foot can be easily removed from the strap/pedal at any time. As a guide, no more than a small left-right shuffle should be necessary to release the foot.
Test ride the straps in a safe area without traffic. Rotate
and re-adjust the strap to find the most comfortable position for pedalling, ensuring even pressure over the bridge of
the foot.
Practise inserting
and removing feet from straps while looking straight ahead (with minimal strap-to-road contact when disengaged).
